Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license for bicultural and multilingual social worker. She has over 13 years of experience working in nonprofits. She has experience with diverse populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse in intimate relationships, etc. Since the beginning of 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas has worked with pregnant and postpartum moms for over a decade. She is a specialist in the field of trauma-informed therapy and is able to offer EMDR services for adult patients. She also offers Group as well as individual therapy, Medication-assisted therapy program, referral to specific care, as well as a Women's support group. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent shelters for pets in need by being volunteer with the Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. Amanda believes in the mantra from Best Friends, "Save Them Everyone" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city that doesn't kill animals.
